FPM Practice Manager Salary Survey 2016

FPM Practice Manager Salary Survey 2016

Written by Gianni Brancazio, Senior Marketing Manager

FPM have launched their annual Practice Manager Salary Survey, which MIAB is sponsoring.

It’s been running for 12 years and looks at differences in pay between the regions, what bonuses are being awarded, how many practice management staff are getting pay rises and how many hours they’re working.

It’ll also look at how much things have changed (or stayed the same) since 2015, which saw the south of England revealed as the highest paid area for practice managers.

The gender wage gap has been a huge talking point this year and according to a study conducted by the Institute for Fiscal Studies, women are paid 18% less than men. For this year’s Survey FPM are also whether a gender wage gap is an issue within general practice for practice managers in the UK.

As an incentive for getting involved, a brilliant iPad Mini 4 is up for grabs for one lucky practice manager.

All you need to do for a chance to take it home is fill in your name and email address before completing the survey, and you will be automatically entered into the prize draw. The winner will be randomly selected and announced on 27th October 2016. All responses to the survey will still remain completely confidential.

Together, FPM and MIAB plan to collate and calculate the average practice manager’s salaries and year-on-year percentage change, as well as providing a detailed bonus analysis.
