The UK’s first official National Practice Managers’ Day has been announced through a collaboration between the Institute of General Practice Management (IGPM) and Practice Index.
The day will take place on Tuesday 21st April, a significant date within the profession, as it marks the founding anniversary of the IGPM, a professional body that works to recognise, regulate, and represent managers working in general practice.
As most practice managers begin their careers with only their GP training, they often find themselves juggling a wide variety of responsibilities, many of which require going above and beyond their contracted hours and duties.
